What you'll do
- Join a core engineering team of 5 working on a next-gen AI orchestration platform for e-commerce customer support.
- Architect, build, and scale large Ruby on Rails applications with ownership of backend systems including PostgreSQL, Redis, and Sidekiq.
- Work across the full product lifecycle including AI/LLM integration, A/B testing, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate closely with founders and engineers to define product requirements and contribute full-stack (backend-first) features.
- Drive rapid product iterations with a strong focus on product quality, speed, and user experience.
What you should know
- Ideal candidates have 5–10+ years of Rails experience and are comfortable shipping quickly and safely in a startup environment.
- The role requires hands-on experience with LLMs and AI systems, including managing non-deterministic outputs.
