What you'll do
- Join the Rail team, a cross-functional squad responsible for evolving the rail upgrade and ancillary platform serving major partners like Amtrak and Eurostar.
- Develop and optimize products such as Bid Upgrades and Instant Upgrades, focusing on rail-specific eligibility, pricing, and reporting features.
- Work full stack in an Agile/Scrum environment alongside product managers, designers, and test automation developers to deliver high-quality, well-tested features rapidly.
- Lead technical architecture discussions, contribute to technical proposals, and assist support and operations teams in issue resolution.
- Collaborate on migrating partners to the latest storefront (AMP v3) and continuously improve the global rail portfolio’s performance.
What you should know
- Ideal candidates have 5+ years of professional experience building web applications in Agile/Scrum settings and take pride in delivering quality products.
- Strong communication skills are essential to explain complex technical concepts to cross-functional teams including designers and support staff.
- The role requires solid fundamentals in computer science and experience with Java (SpringBoot), React with TypeScript, and cloud deployment (preferably AWS).
- Candidates should be comfortable leading technical decisions and working collaboratively on both new features and internal tooling.
