What you'll do
- Develop and maintain backend services primarily using Ruby and Rails, with PostgreSQL and Redis as core components.
- Collaborate in a small, fast-moving engineering team focused on building a marketplace for flexible, high-quality childcare solutions.
- Engage in code reviews, pair programming, and continuous deployment practices using GitHub, CircleCI, Heroku, and AWS.
- Work closely with product and operations teams to deliver value-driven features through short development cycles and feature flags.
- Contribute to solving complex matching problems and improving nanny recruitment and training processes.
