What you'll do
- Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team focused on the Pajamas Design System and GitLab documentation platform.
- Define and build the engineering practice within Upstream Studios, shaping a new function with significant influence.
- Guide architecture and technical decisions for design system components, tokens, patterns, and documentation site infrastructure.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Design, Technical Writing, Localization, Marketing, and Engineering leaders.
- Advocate for engineering quality including technical debt management, accessibility, security, and platform reliability.
