What you'll do
- Lead development and maintenance of Shopify Apps ensuring stability, performance, and code quality.
- Take full technical ownership including architecture planning, risk management, and establishing best practices.
- Collaborate closely with the Product team to define feature implementation and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Mentor junior developers through code reviews, pairing, and fostering a strong engineering culture.
- Work within a cross-functional team of 11, including developers, product managers, and QA, emphasizing collaboration and knowledge sharing.
What you should know
- Role requires fluent German communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Candidates must have at least 3 years of productive full-stack experience with Ruby on Rails and React.
- Expect to take on significant technical responsibility including architecture decisions and mentoring.
- Work environment supports remote collaboration but is primarily onsite in Berlin with strong team interaction.
