What you'll do
- Lead development of the core reading experience impacting 10M+ daily users across Scribd’s document corpus.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, AI/ML, and infrastructure teams to prototype and launch AI-enhanced features.
- Modernize the tech stack by decomposing a Ruby on Rails monolith into a modular Microfrontend architecture using Next.js.
- Build and maintain both frontend (React, Next.js, Typescript) and backend services (Ruby on Rails, Python) including search and ingestion infrastructure.
- Improve SEO and accessibility while contributing to a shared design system and frontend infrastructure enhancements.
