What you'll do
- Contribute to the core reading experience for over 10 million daily users on Scribd's document platform.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and AI/ML teams to prototype and launch AI-enhanced features.
- Lead modernization efforts by decomposing a Ruby on Rails monolith into a modular Microfrontend architecture using Next.js.
- Develop and maintain both frontend (React, Next.js, Typescript) and backend services (Ruby on Rails, Python) for document search and ingestion.
- Improve SEO and accessibility while working cross-functionally with SEO PM and infrastructure teams.
