What you'll do
- Lead the technical direction and developer experience for Ruby client libraries within Google Cloud SDK.
- Develop idiomatic and performant Ruby code and build client libraries supporting the Ruby developer ecosystem.
- Guide and mentor engineers on the Ruby team, establishing high coding standards, architecture, and testing practices.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues and performance bottlenecks in the Ruby ecosystem, collaborating with platform teams.
- Own and contribute to core infrastructure including code generators and release pipelines for client libraries.
