Senior Software Engineer (Ruby)

What you'll do

• Lead significant migration efforts and collaborate with government stakeholders to gain buy-in on technical initiatives.
• Design, review, and build well-crafted software in an agile environment alongside Nava engineers and contractors.
• Create tools and processes to automate development, testing, and production workflows.
• Participate in on-call rotation to support and troubleshoot production systems.
• Contribute to hiring activities including referrals, interviews, and debriefs as needed.

What you should know

• This role requires at least 7 years of full-stack engineering experience with minimal supervision.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and reside in approved states for remote work.
• Expect to work on large-scale, web-based systems with both front-end and back-end responsibilities.
