What you'll do
- Lead development of high-performance backend systems primarily using Ruby on Rails, with opportunities to work with Golang, Node.js, or Python.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and engineers to deliver well-scoped product features.
- Advocate and practice test-driven development (TDD) to ensure delivery of high-quality, reliable software.
- Design and build scalable distributed systems with a strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases and caching mechanisms.
- Communicate effectively in English and preferably bilingual in Chinese to support a diverse team and customer base.
