What you'll do
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable full-stack features using React, Ruby on Rails, and Python.
- Own features from initial architecture through to production, ensuring systems remain simple, maintainable, and aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into elegant technical solutions.
- Mentor junior developers, participate in code reviews, and help establish engineering standards for team improvement.
- Contribute to evolving data and AI pipelines, especially around thermal image processing and analysis.
What you should know

- Candidates should have strong systems thinking and experience with SQL schema design and API stability.
- Must be able to work onsite in Markham, Ontario, with flexible in-person attendance after initial onboarding.

- Experience with Python data libraries, image manipulation, or DevOps practices is a plus but not mandatory.
