What you'll do
- Design and deliver end-to-end features for Slack’s video conferencing product, Huddles, impacting 4.8M+ weekly users.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, backend, and client platform teams to build real-time web applications.
- Optimize and debug audio/video performance using WebRTC and related technologies across multiple devices and platforms.
- Establish and maintain high engineering standards through code quality, system design, and reusable architectural patterns.
- Mentor engineers, conduct in-depth code reviews, and support production excellence by partnering with Customer Experience teams.
