What you'll do
- Lead development of GitLab CI backend infrastructure to enhance performance, reliability, and scalability for millions of CI jobs.
- Design and implement AI-powered features and agentic CI experiences integrated with GitLab's Duo Agent Platform.
- Define and track success metrics for AI in CI, including instrumentation, observability, and safeguards for production reliability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, UX, and Infrastructure teams to influence architecture and execution.
- Write secure, well-tested, and maintainable Ruby on Rails code within a large monolithic codebase while reducing technical debt.
