What you'll do
- Own and deliver core payments and money-movement features end-to-end in a fintech product.
- Build and maintain integrations with banks, accounting platforms, ERPs, and property management systems.
- Take full ownership of features including database schema, background jobs, and Hotwire UI components.
- Collaborate closely with founders and a small, high-ownership team in a fast-scaling startup.
- Drive professionalization of infrastructure while maintaining rapid development pace.
What you should know
- Role requires 8-12+ years experience shipping production systems at a staff/expert level.
- Ideal candidate has deep Ruby on Rails expertise and full-stack ownership capabilities.
- Experience with real payments, PCI compliance, ACH, and bank APIs is critical.
