What you'll do
- Lead design, build, and testing of core platform services including communications, reporting, and compliance.
- Mentor engineers to solve complex technical problems in large-scale, high-impact systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data, and Design teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Own platform performance, scalability, and reliability for one of the largest Ruby/Rails and React applications.
- Drive architectural decisions and set engineering standards across multiple teams.
What you should know
- This role requires 8+ years of experience with a passion for scalable, efficient platform engineering.
- Candidates should be comfortable working onsite in the San Francisco Bay Area with some travel for onboarding.
- Strong interest or experience in Ruby on Rails and collaborative, test-driven development is preferred.
