What you'll do
- Lead design, development, and testing of payments or risk platform services including payment rails, fraud prevention, and compliance features.
- Mentor engineers and set engineering standards in a complex, large-scale Ruby on Rails and JavaScript/React environment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, data, and financial operations teams to deliver impactful solutions.
- Own multi-quarter projects addressing scalability, performance, and reliability challenges in financial systems.
- Drive innovation by leveraging and experimenting with AI tools to enhance development and platform capabilities.

- This role requires onsite presence in New York City with 2-3 days per week expected in the office.
