What you'll do
- Serve as a Staff Software Engineer - Full Stack/SRE with high autonomy, leading projects and influencing technical decisions.
- Work on the va.gov platform to improve reliability, performance, and user experience for Veterans.
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotation focused on proactive monitoring and system health.
- Collaborate closely with multiple teams to provide consulting and guidance on observability, reliability, and performance.
- Develop and maintain code in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript (SvelteKit), and Python to enhance internal tools and monitoring.
